The final sculpture arrived like a gift I didn’t know I’d been waiting for. After weeks of looking backward and forward, of processing and becoming, there came a morning when I simply was. Present. Whole. Here.

This piece lives in the color of life fully lived, of presence fully embodied. The surface is both complex and peaceful, textured by the journey but smooth in its resolution. Working on this final piece, I felt the profound simplicity of arrival. Not the arrival at some far-off destination, but the recognition that every step, every fracture, every pause was shaping me into someone new.

This sculpture holds the August light I had been chasing all along: that golden-green glow that doesn’t mourn summer’s ending but celebrates its transformation. It reminds us that healing is about becoming, about unfolding into the person we are meant to be through change, through challenge, through growth.

Standing here now, hands still dusty with creation, I understand what this collection has been teaching me: that wholeness isn’t found by returning to what was, but by allowing ourselves to evolve. And in becoming, we discover we were never broken, only opening into a deeper, more luminous version of ourselves.
