You know those times when you're putting in all this work, but it feels like nothing is happening? When you're showing up every day but can't see any progress? This piece is about that feeling.

Sometimes growth happens so quietly that we miss it completely. While we're looking for big changes, real transformation is happening beneath the surface, layer by layer, moment by moment.

The textures and movement in this piece represent all that unseen growth is happening over time. There's stillness mixed with subtle shifts,, just like how life feels when you're in the middle of changing but can't see it yet. It's about learning to trust the process even when you have no proof it's working.

I built this piece layer by layer, focusing on depth rather than what was happening on the surface. Each brushstroke was intentional but I didn't try to control the outcome. I let the colors flow naturally, embracing the imperfect way things grow.

I know what it feels like to wonder if you're really moving forward, if all your effort is leading somewhere. This piece is for anyone who's ever felt stuck in that waiting place, questioning whether their work matters.

It's a reminder from my own journey: growth is happening, even when you can't see it yet.

Medium & Size: Drywall mud on canvas panel, acrylic wall paint, airbrush paints yellow and pink gradient, inter-coat, mica powder, sealed with gold iridescent glossy finish.
