"Taking it Slow" was inspired by the first sculpture I made a few years ago, which marked a turning point in my creative journey. I set a goal to recreate that piece on a larger scale, both to honor where I started and to explore how my approach has evolved over time. The curves in this piece have always captivated me, wrapping around the canvas as if embracing it.

This artwork symbolizes patience and transformation, reflecting how meaningful change doesn’t happen overnight. The gradient blend of pink, blue, and purple echoes the sunsets I watched during the early days of my sculpting journey, a reminder of how every day brought a little more light into my life.

I used a layering technique to build depth and form, working with a palette knife to give the surface a tactile quality. Each layer dried fully before I added the next, a process that took several weeks and allowed the piece to evolve organically. This gradual build-up mirrors the idea that growth and healing take time.

Creating this piece felt like revisiting an old journal, taking me back to a darker time when art was my comfort and my guide. It reminds me of the beauty in taking things slow, of mindfully navigating life’s journey one step at a time. I hope you can feel that sense of patience and introspection, connecting with your journey toward transformation.

SHIPPING POLICY

Please note that VAT (Value Added Tax) is not included in shipping rates. For countries outside US and Canada, your order may be subject to import duties, fees, and taxes. We are not responsible for these charges. The customer is responsible to pay it off once the package reached its destination.

RETURN POLICY

We pack the artwork in protective boxes and secured wraps to guarantee that the artwork will arrive in perfect condition. Regardless, if the artwork arrived damaged please reach out to us immediately, at least within two days after receiving it. Notify us in a clear statement to hi@yourlittleartist.shop within two (2) days of receiving it. Provide your name and order information.

The buyer retains their right to refund if the damage or impairment is not due to negligence or lack of care on their part. If returned, the artwork shall be returned in its original condition and packaging.

REFUND POLICY

If you’re not happy with your purchase or any defects arise, you have 30 days to request a refund. To do so, you may contact me at hi@yourlittleartist.shop and explain the issue. I will be happy to assist you. Returned artwork should be sent back in similar wrapping and packaging ensuring it will not be damaged during transport. Damaged returns will not be accepted for refund. The buyer is responsible for the return back to us including the fees.
