"Living The Dream" explores that universal longing we all share—the desire to reach our goals and live out our wildest dreams. There's something deeply comforting about imagining a world where we have everything our hearts desire, and that's exactly what this piece is about.
The inspiration came from a painting that hung in my grandmother's house. It showed a woman in a river, glowing with this ethereal, almost otherworldly light. She looked so peaceful, so content, and I knew I had to capture that feeling and share it with others.
I designed the piece with flowing, layered forms that create a distinctly feminine energy. The small details, those tiny curves you might miss at first glance, are there to highlight the bigger ones. It's like life itself: the little things often go unnoticed, but they're what make the whole picture complete.
I hope that "Living The Dream" transports you to that vibrant, magical place in your imagination, the place where your heart and soul truly belong. A space of harmony and authenticity, where peace reigns and complications simply don't exist.
Creating this piece pushed me way out of my comfort zone, which is exactly where I needed to be. The concept was so compelling it kept me up at night, but even when I hit obstacles along the way, the anticipation of seeing it come to life made every challenge worth it. That's what art does—it fuels your creativity and feeds your soul in ways nothing else can.
