Illumoria Series: Chapter 1

The meaning behind this new series: Illumoria (n.) — a realm where emotion, memory, and spirit become form; a soft, internal light traced into being.

It feels like something between, “Illuminate” – to reveal or bring light to something, and “Memoria” – Latin for memory.

About the artwork:

Memory in Motion is a visual breath, fluid, open, and endlessly shifting.

This work speaks to how our memories don’t fade; they evolve. Just like water tracing the shape of its container, emotion reshapes what we remember. Swirls of deep blues movement flow across a soft, luminous base of pinks and orange, symbolizing memory’s delicate tension between clarity and blur.

Subtle light reflects from beneath its surface. There’s softness that invites you closer.. and when you do, you may find pieces of yourself reflected within its flow.
