Illumoria Series: Chapter 2
The meaning behind this new series: Illumoria (n.) — a realm where emotion, memory, and spirit become form; a soft, internal light traced into being.
It feels like something between, “Illuminate” – to reveal or bring light to something, and “Memoria” – Latin for memory.
About the artwork:
This one feels like falling in love with yourself again. It’s an awakening, a reconnection with the parts of you you forgot to cherish. It holds the warmth of self-acceptance, the thrill of possibility, and the tenderness of seeing yourself clearly for the first time in a long time. It’s not loud; it’s a gentle, steady pulse that reminds you: you are worth your devotion.
The pink glows softer here, resting gently against the richness of blue. The movement is slower, more tender, an embrace rather than a burst. The bare canvas remains, honest and unhidden, while the stars shimmer as small moments of self-recognition. The warm tones thread through quietly, as if wrapping the whole piece in acceptance.
May this painting remind you that the greatest love story you’ll ever live is the one you write with yourself.
